Delhi Police to book AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan after supporters free accused

New Delhi: AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, who has been elected for the third time from Okhla assembly constituency, is being booked by Delhi Police after the MLA and his supporters allegedly freed one attempt to murder accused from police custody in Jamia Nagar area of Okhla village on Monday.

On Monday afternoon, it was alleged that the AAP MLA supporters tried to free one Shavez Khan, who is accused of attempt to murder in 2018, from the custody of Delhi Crime branch inspector.

The incident reportedly took place in Jamia Nagar area of South East Delhi.

According to police, cops tried to arrest Shavez Khan in 2018 attempt to murder case when the MLA and his supporters tried to free the accused. The accused later fled from the scene.
