Vidisha: In a tragic incident, a 23-year-old woman collapsed and died due to a heart attack, while dancing on stage in Vidisha. A resident of Indore, she was visiting from Indore to attend her cousin’s sangeet ceremony. Close to 200 guests had gathered at the ceremony when the incident took place.
The clip of the incident has gone viral. A post-graduate with MBA, Parinita got on the stage to dance to the tune of the popular Hindi song ‘Sharara Sharara’. Just seconds after her performance the woman collapsed on stage.
Family doctors initially tried to hold the woman
Soon after, some doctors in the family tried to revive her with CPR. However, when this did not help, the woman was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead. As per doctors, the woman had suffered a heart attack due to which she collapsed and later died. Tragically, she also lost her brother due to a heart attack when he was just 12 years old. The death of the 23-year-old was the latest of such incidents when visibly fit youngsters are collapsing while dancing or playing, resulting in their deaths.
Another woman died of a heart attack in Mumbai
In another incident, a 44-year-old woman died of a heart attack in Mumbai, while swimming at the newly inaugurated Olympic-size pool in Vashi locality. The woman Shreya Sandeep Bhoir died by the the poolside after suffering cardiac arrest. The police have filed a case of accidental death in the incident, Hindustan Times reported.
According to the police, the CCTV footage of the spot showed that a woman entered the pool wearing a safety jacket. She however felt uneasy and came out of the pools. However, she can be seen puking. On noticing the same. The staff tried to help her with CPR. The woman was subsequently taken to Swarajya Hospital, where she was declared dead.
