Mother, daughter fall from safari jeep in front of rhinos in Kaziranga | Video

New Delhi: A jeep safari fun ride for a mother-daughter duo turned out to be a near-death experience when they had a close shave after falling off the vehicle in which they were travelling in the Bagori forest range of Kaziranga National Park in Assam. A spine-chilling video of the moment has gone viral on social media.

The video, captured by a fellow tourist, shows three jeeps filled with tourists preparing to make a right turn. As the first two jeeps accelerate, a young girl and her mother fall to the ground and scream for help. The duo fall from the moving jeep dangerously close to rhinos who were walking inside the park. A rhino approaches the tourists’ vehicle. Looking at the rhino stomping aggressively, the jeep pulled back. The duo reportedly somehow dodged the rhinos and climbed back into their jeep. They were miraculously saved.

Had the jeep not pulled back, a tragedy would have occurred. The Kaziranga administration has reportedly initiated an investigation into the incident and appealed to the tourists to remain alert during jeep safaris.
