New Delhi: As Delhi Assembly Election nears, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has posed 5 questions to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) cheif Mohan Bhagwat. In a letter, Arvind Kejriwal has asked Mohan Bhagwat whether he supports BJP’s wrongdoings in the politics. RSS is considered as the political ideologue of the BJP.
“There are reports in the media that RSS will seek votes for BJP in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Is this true? But before this, the people wanted to know where RSS supports the wrongdoings of the BJP done in the last few years,” Arvind Kejriwal said in the letter.
BJP leaders distributing money: Kejriwal
Kejriwal went on to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, “BJP leaders are openly distributing money to get votes. Do the RSS supports this kind of politics?.”
“The names of Dalits, voters from Purvanchali are being struck off from the rolls on a massive scale. These people are living here for a long time. Does RSS think this is good for Indian democracy? Don’t you think BJP is weakening the spirit of democracy?” the AAP chief asked.
AAP and BJP at each other’s throat before Delhi polls
The aim of Kejriwal’s letter is aimed at embarrassing the BJP while addressing the chief of its parent organisation. While AAP has accused of getting the name of voter removed from voter list, the BJP has charged AAP of adding ‘fake names’ in voter list to bolster its support ahead of Delhi polls.
