The violence took place on November 24 during a survey at Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal, which resulted in the deaths of four people and left several others injured.

Why delay in visit?

Following the incident, the Sambhal administration imposed a ban on the entry of outsiders into the district, which prevented the SP delegation from visiting the area until the ban was lifted on December 10.

Mata Prasad Pandey said that the entire delegation would be present during the visit and expressed confidence that there were no plans to stop them. The SP leaders have already spoken to the District Magistrate (DM) of Sambhal and confirmed that there have been no objections to their visit.
