Shinde’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Mangesh Chivate, visited Kambli at the hospital to check on his condition and ensure that his treatment goes on without any shortcomings. Chivate also consulted with the attending doctors to gather details about Kambli’s health and reiterated Shinde’s commitment to providing necessary assistance.

Expressing his appreciation, Kambli thanked Deputy CM Eknath Shinde for the generous support and requested him to visit the hospital. Reports suggest that Shinde, along with his son and Member of Parliament Shrikant Shinde, is expected to meet Kambli in the coming days.

Vinod Kambli health update

Kambli was admitted to the ICU of Akruti Hospital near Bhiwandi town on Saturday for treatment of urinary tract infections. On Tuesday,  he developed a fever but his condition remains stable, according to doctors treating him.

He is likely to be shifted out of the ICU in the next one or two days and discharges from the hospital in about four days.

Kambli’s viral video with Sachin Tendulkar raised concerns

Kambli has frequently made headlines, often finding himself in the public eye for various reasons. Recently, a video featuring Kambli and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar went viral, reigniting interest in Kambli’s life and struggles.

During a recent event attended by both Tendulkar and Kambli, Kambli attempted to greet his old friend but was unable to stand from his chair. Later in the same programme, he performed a song in memory of his coach, the late Ramakant Achrekar, but his voice trembled and his words faltered. The incident touched many, prompting offers of support from well-wishers.
