Durg: The health condition of famous Folk singer Teejan Bai has been continuously deteriorating recently. The Padma Vibushan awardee has also not received her pension in nine months, which is affecting her financial condition as well, her family has said.

Authorities promise Rs 50,000 aid to famous singer

However, Collector Richa Prakash Chaudhary said that Teejan Bai’s health is gradually improving now. She further said that apart from her pension, the singer will also be given Rs 50,000 by the government for financial assistance. The team of doctors will also check her health every day and physiotherapy will also be done by a specialist doctor.
