New Delhi: Union minister Giriraj Singh staged a protest on Parliament premises against Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi. While holding the protest, Singh held pictures of Sonia Gandhi and Soros, with the caption: ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata Hai’.

The Bhartiya Janata Party alleges that there is a link between Congress leadership and Hungarian-American billionaire philanthropist George Soros.

The deadlock over the BJP’s demand for a discussion on the alleged links between Congress and George Soros led to adjournments in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju hit out at the INDIA bloc parties for their no-confidence motion against Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar.

In the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, Leader of the House and Union Minister JP Nadda claimed that a senior Congress leader had connections with Soros, and emphasised that this matter should be discussed in the House as it relates to India’s security and sovereignty. He pointed out that INDIA bloc’s allegations against the Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar were aimed at deviating from the Soros issue.
