New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that 140 crore Indians need to maintain the zeal and passion like we had during our freedom struggle to realise the dream of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. PM Modi was addressing a programme marking the 200th anniversary celebrations of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in Vadtal.
PM modi urged all the saints and sages and the entire Swaminarayan family to connect people with the objective of making India a developed nation.
“Just like in the freedom movement, the yearning for freedom and the spark of freedom were inspiring the countrymen from different parts of the society for a century. Not a single day, not a single moment passed when people gave up their intentions and resolutions for freedom. The same zeal and consciousness that was there in the freedom movement, should be there every moment in 140 crore citizens for a developed India,” said PM Modi while addressing the event virtually.
