Cheating SCs is ‘chaal’ and ‘charitra’ of Congress: PM Modi in Akola | Top quotes

Akola: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday spoke at a poll rally in Maharashtra’s Akola, where he accused Congress of undermining the rights of the Scheduled Caste community. He further claimed that the party’s actions amounted to deceit, describing cheating the SCs as both the “Chaal” and “Charitra” of Congress party. He also reiterated theremark, “Ek hain to safe hain.”

The PM accused Congress of fuelling infighting among Scheduled Caste (SC) communities to further their own political interests. He said that Congress benefits from dividing SC communities, as it disperses their voices and votes.

Here are the top quotes of the PM:

  • Congress wants that different castes of SC society keep fighting and quarreling among themselves. Because she knows that if different castes of SC society keep fighting among themselves, their voice will get dispersed.
  • Congress fuels division among castes, preventing unity. If we remain divided and in conflict, Congress will exploit the situation, stripping away the rights of SCs. This is part of their agenda and mindset. Stay alert and remember, ‘ Ek hain to safe hain. ‘
