The police arrived at the scene after being informed by the locals. BJP and VHP leaders visited the site and condemned the incident while attributing the vandalism to ‘Islamic fanaticism’ without any evidence.

According to latest reports, Cyberabad police arrested a Hindu man in his 50s, who hails from Uttar Pradesh. Further credentials of the man are being investigated and security at the Airport colony has been increased, police said.
