New Delhi: A death threat against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been received by the Mumbai Police. As per the message, the BJP leader will be murdered “like Baba Siddique” if he doesn’t resign as Chief Minister within 10 days.
It was on October 12 that former minister and NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader was gunned down by three men in Bandra. The death threat to Yogi Adityanath also comes after similar threats to Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
The death threat to the UP CM was received at the WhatsApp helpline of Mumbai Traffic Police control room from an unknown number on Saturday evening. The message said that if Yogi Adiyanath did not quit in 10 days, he will be “killed like Baba Siddique”. Mumbai Police are probing the matter and trying to track down the sender of the message.
