New Delhi: New parents in town, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, have named their baby girl, Dua Padukone Singh. Along with revealing the name of their little daughter, the star couple also shared the first glimpse of Dua.
Earlier, the couple announced the arrival of their daughter Dua through an Instagram post. They simply shared an image with words written on it, “Welcome baby girl! 8.9.2024. Deepika and Ranveer.” They were blessed by their firstborn on September 8, 2024.

Making a joint post on Instagram, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone shared the first glimpse of their daughter. In the picture, little feet are seen. Devi can be seen dressed in gorgeous ethnic wear for Diwali festivities. In the post, they revealed the name of their daughter Devi.
They wrote in the caption, “Dua Padukone Singh | Dua Padukone Singh.”

Meaning of the name ‘Dua’
In the caption, Ranveer Singh and Deepika even shared the meaning of the word ‘Dua’ and wrote, “meaning a Prayer.” They also shared why they have kept their daughter name, Dua. DeepVeer wrote, “Because She is the Answer to our Prayers. Our hearts are filled with Love & Gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer.”
