The fan and her partner were overwhelmed and the video garnered the attention of netizens. While social media users lauded Dosanjh’s gesture, British-American Andrew Tate left a disparaging remark. He wrote, “Bet it stinks of curry.” The comment faced several backlash from Dosanjh’s fans. One wrote, “Still smells better than sexual misconduct.” A second person stated, “Which is worst? A pedo or currified jacket? Go back to pimping.” A netizen commented, “Curry smells really good, in my frank opinion… Much better than the KFC you eat mate… ”

Tate is facing several allegations of human trafficking and sexual exploitation along with his brother and other associates. Many women have come forward with statements supporting the allegations. The influencer was placed under house arrest for more than seven months. Though he was released in August 2023, Tate still faces restrictions. Additionally, Tate’s videos have been infamous for his misogyny and derogatory statements against women. In one of his videos, the influencer stated that there was “no such thing as an independent female”. He also labelled women as “lazy”.
