New Delhi: Pankaj Tripathi’s Mirzapur The Film‘s announcement has the fans over the moon. With fans digging for new details about the upcoming project, the excitement for the web series moving to the silver screen is palpable. The joint announcement was made by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, following the release of the highly-discussed Mirzapur season 3 earlier this year.

While only a short trailer for the film has hit social media, the makers are yet to give out a confirmed date of release. However, it has been confirmed that the crime thriller film will be available for OTT streaming across 240 countries eight weeks after its theatrical run ends. As of now, the only information available is that Mirzapur The Film will be released in theatres in 2026.

Pankaj Tripathi will be reprising his role as Kaleen Bhaiyya. Fans let out a sigh of relief after this announcement as reports suggested that Hrithik Roshan would be taking over the role concerned fans.
Ali Fazal will be returning as Guddi Pandit, while Abhishek Banerji will take on his role as Compounder. However, the biggest surprise is that Divyenndu has been confirmed to come back as Munna Bhaiyya. Divyenndu’s return after his unexpected demise in Mirzapur season 2 has fans intrigued about his role in the film.
