As the race for US’s next Commander-in-Chief gets closer, the race may be getting to the two candidates. Vice- President and Democrat candidate Kamala Harris has called Donald Trump a “Fascist”. This is not the first time Trump has been attacked by the Democrat campaign.
Why is Kamala Harris calling Donald Trump names?
Kamala Harris, who considers herself a joyful warrior has been quick to respond to questions fielded to her. So, when during a CNN hosted event, host Anderson Cooper asked her if she thought Trump was a fascist, she replied with a firm ‘Yes I do’. The Democrat candidate went on to say that when people close to him say so they should be trusted.
She was referring to Trump’s chief of staff John Kelly, who recently claimed boldly that he fits in the category of a fascist. He said that Trump said “Hitler also did some good things.”
What have Trump’s former employees said about him?
Now name-calling in the run up to crucial elections is not uncommon. But Trump’s former employees have also made shocking claims about him.
John Kelly was Trump’s longest-serving Chief of Staff so his comments have not been taken lightly. He revealed how Trump preferred the dictator approach. Further, he added Trump had expressed his will to use the army to target his personal opponents.
This is not the only claim by an ex-employee.
There is a long list of employees who seem terrorised with Trump returning to the White House.
Retired Marine Gen. James Mattis, Trump’s first secretary of defence, mentioned in a new book that he was so worried Trump would order a nuclear strike overnight that he slept in gym clothes.
Former chairman of the Joint Chiefs under Trump, called the former president a fascist to the core.
Now all these people have called Trump a fascist and a threat to the constitution, but the list continues with other staffers calling him dumb.
Trump’s former national security adviser, John Bolton termed him to be “too dumb to be a fascist”.
Another former employee Rex Tillerson even said that he was totally ignorant about American History and world events.
How have the Democrats attacked Trump?
The Democrats have made a campaign around calling out Trump…which has mostly been working well for them this election.
The story started when Trump’s running mate JD Vance made a controversial statement. He suggested that political leaders who do not have children, do not have a direct stake in the country.
Following this Kamala Harris and her allies began calling Trump and the republican party’s comments “weird”. This quickly went viral and trended on social media for days.
In recent days, Harris has said that Trump is increasingly unhinged and unstable.
