Dindigul: Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin slammed alleged attempts to impose Hindi through the new education policy in the state, recalling Anna’s proposed name change for Tamil Nadu, which sparked protests. and DMK youth wing chief vowed the DMK will resist Hindi imposition, ensuring Tamil Nadu’s cultural identity remains intact.
“They’re trying to impose Hindi in Tamil Nadu under the guise of the new education policy. After failing to do so directly, they’re now trying to erode our Dravidian heritage,” Udhayanidhi said.

Reiterating the DMK’s commitment to protecting Tamil culture, Udhayanidhi declared, “Our party’s last wish is that Tamils, Tamil language, and Dravidian heritage remain inseparable. Tamil Nadu will never accept Hindi imposition.”
Udhayanidhi Stalin highlighted the Dravidian movement’s legacy, crediting Father Periyar and his grandfather Karunanidhi for fighting social injustices. He reaffirmed his commitment to upholding Dravidian values, stating he won’t apologize for speaking his mind despite facing criticism. Udhayanidhi attended former DMK legislator Andy Ambalam’s house wedding ceremony in Nattham yesterday. Stalin congratulated the newlyweds and addressed the gathering, emphasizing his pride in taking charge as Deputy Chief Minister.
