Triumph has updated the Speed Twin 900 for the 2025 model year. The updates are mostly visual with a few changes here and there. This bring the Speed Twin more in line with the recently updated Speed Twin 1200.
To start with, the new Speed Twin 900 gets an updated tank. Its sleeker and complements the thin body of the motorcycle. It also gets a new headlight design and the engine casing is more angular now with a sharper looking throttle body shroud. There are a few new colour options as well.
One of the big changes is the new suspension. Now it gets Marzocchi upside down forks up front and a Marzocchi mono-shock at the rear as well. Triumph has finally listened to its customers feedback and has started offering their bikes with proper Bembo brakes. It also gets Michelin Road Classic tyres.
There is new tech as well. The instrument colour has been updated and it gets a new LCD TFT colour display which is Bluetooth capable and allows the motorcycle to have connected features. It also gets traction control, riding modes and cornering ABS. The switchgear has also been borrowed from the bigger 1200cc sibling.
Mechanically the motorcycle remains the same and features a 900cc parallel twin engine which produces 65 bhp at 7,500 rpms and 80 Nm of torque at 3,800 rpms and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox keeping things retro.
Triumph has increased the prices of the Speed Twin 900 by £400 (around Rs 43,754) and it now start from £9,195 (around Rs 10.05). In India, the Street Twin 900 was priced from Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and we expect to see a price increase here as well.
