New Delhi: In a shocking incident that has come to light from Bengaluru, a 45-year-old bus conductor was stabbed by a 23-year-old man after he asked him to stand away from the vehicle’s automatic doors. Yogesh, the bus conductor, has been hospitalised and is out of danger, according to the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). The man who stabbed the conductor has been identified as Harsh Sinha.

A PTI report said that Harsh Sinha, who hails from Jharkhand, was recently sacked by a BPO firm and was out of job for about three weeks. Harsh told the police that he was frustrated after he lost his job.
According to the cops, the incident occurred near ITPL bus stop on Tuesday evening. The bus conductor Yogesh asked Harsh to stay away from the footboard because it was causing trouble for passengers who were boarding and alighting the bus. There was an argument between them. After this, Harsh whipped out a knife from his bag and stabbed Yogesh.
The incident triggered panic among passengers travelling in the bus and they started rushing out. In another video, Harsh can be seen issuing threats to the other passengers. Siddalingaswamy, the bus driver, locks the door and jumps out as Harsh gets trapped inside the vehicle, the video shows. Harsh then started kicking at the glass doors and breaking them to escape. The passengers call the police and Harsh is arrested.
A senior cop was quoted as saying by PTI that the bus conductor received two-three stab injuries but was out of danger now. He added that the accused passenger has been arrested in the attempt to murder case.
