New Delhi: After intense speculation over who will be the chief minister of Delhi following the resignation of AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi Marlena was designated as the new Delhi Chief Minister. Arvind Kejriwal resigned after he was embroiled in Delhi liquor scam case.
The former Delhi CM, who came out of jail last week, is being probed by both Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED).

- Atishi’s affidavit also revealed that she had an income of 5,20,505 as per IT Return in 2018-19.
- In 2020, Atishi in her election affidavit disclosed that she had Rs 36,000 in her SBI account. She also has a Fixed Deposit of Rs 36 lakh. She also has Rs 18 lakh FD in ICICI bank. She had Rs 2,000 in her Bank of Baroda account.
- At that time, her husband’s account had Rs 8 lakh deposit. Her husband also had an FD of Rs 54 lakh on his name.
- Her election affidavit also disclosed that AAP leader also had Rs 5 lakh health insurance policy.
