New Delhi: A three-storey building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut on Saturday. According to reports, at least 10 people are trapped under the debris, and some animals are also believed to be trapped.
The incident occurred in Lohiyanagar of Meerut. Search and rescue operations are currently underway.
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the accident and has instructed that the injured be transported to hospital immediately. He has also directed district administration officials to ensure their proper treatment and has wished for their swift recovery.
Furthermore, the chief minister has ordered district administration officials to reach the site and expedite relief efforts.
