Rajouri : Terrorists open fire at police and security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Tuesday evening, after which the search operation has been launched. The police has cordoned-off the area. The exchange of fire took place when police and Rashtriya Rifles personnel reached Karyote village of Thanamandi after receiving informations about suspicious movements.
The exchange of fire took place around 7:30 pm. According to officials terrorists opened fireafter noticing the security personnel and then fled from the spot after taking advantage of the darkness. While none was injured in the exchange of fire reinforcements were rushed to the area.
